The rising prevalence of these offshore hubs that handle a variety of functions for their companies (IT, engineering, R&D, HR, and finance)—is largely concentrated in India, home to more than 50% of the global market for GCCs.
With approximately 1,600 centres employing more than 1.5 million professionals, the GCC market size in India alone is projected to reach US$110 billion by 2030.
