Rates

2021 Virtual Registration Rates

Registration fees for the Virtual ACC Corporate Counsel University® (CCU) include sessions and written materials.

• All deadlines occur on set date at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.
• *Nonmember rate includes one year of ACC membership (US$385; membership eligibility rules apply). ACC membership and meeting registration will be confirmed pending approval of eligibility.
• There are NO day passes and NO guest passes available for CCU21.

Group Rates

Any company registering two or more attendees will receive a group discount of US$50 off of each registration. Please email education@acc.com for additional information and further instructions.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

• Payment for a minimum of two registrations must be received at one time in order to qualify for the group rate.
• Registrations must be submitted at the same time to receive the discount.
• Group discount cannot be combined with other offers or discounts.
• No retroactive group rates will be given.
• If you already have a group registration for your organization and would like to add additional registrants; if paying for your group via check or wire transfer; or if you need additional support with group registrations, please email education@acc.com and we can assist you.

Confirmation

Registrations are not considered confirmed until payment is processed. Please do not consider your registration complete until you have received the confirmation email.

If you are an ACC member, after registering for CCU, you will receive a written registration confirmation by email.

If you are a nonmember, after registering for CCU, you will receive a written acknowledgement of receipt of your registration by email, followed by a registration confirmation after your eligibility has been approved. Please allow 24-48 hours after submission for eligibility approval.

Cancellation Policy

Registration cancellations must be received in writing via cancel@acc.com. Registrations cannot be cancelled over the phone. Cancellations for registrations processed at the nonmember rate will not be refunded the US$385 membership fee included with the registration. Registration cancellations will adhere to the cancellation policy dates below, without exception.

* Credit issued may be used towards the following ACC education programs: 2021 Xchange, 2021 Annual Meeting, 2022 Xchange, or 2022 Corporate Counsel University®. Credit may not be used towards any other educational programs not included on the above list. Credit may not be divided among programs and any remaining funds following credit application will be forfeited. Credit may be transferred to an eligible attendee from the same organization, but written notification of transfer (via cancel@acc.com) must be received from the original purchaser in order for the credit to be valid. Credit will expire June 30, 2022.

Attendee Substitutions

Substitute attendees (from the same organization and eligible to attend) are always welcome. Please email your request to education@acc.com.

Financial Hardship Policy

ACC offers a limited number of full- and half-price discounts to CCU. Preference is given to ACC members who have already incurred the expense of membership dues. Application for hardship and granting of a hardship discount is limited to individuals who meet the criteria for program registration or attendance.

All requests for full- and half-price discounts will be kept confidential and all such determinations will be made on a case-by-case basis. Applicant should fill out a web form explaining the need for financial assistance and how attending this program will be helpful. The deadline to submit an application for this year's Corporate Counsel University is June 11, 2021.

Special Requirements

Participants with special needs should note them on the registration form or contact ACC's Education & Meetings Department at education@acc.com. Requests for special accommodations should be sent as soon as you register, but no later than June 7, 2021, so that appropriate arrangements can be made.

CCU FAQs

For the optimal experience, we strongly recommend that you use a desktop computer or laptop to access the sessions, roundtables, and Speed Networking events.

As a registrant of CCU, to access the sessions, roundtables, and Speed Networking, please follow the below steps:

1. Please go to the 2021 Corporate Counsel University® event access page. (For registrant access ONLY.)
   • Please be sure to bookmark the event access page so you can easily find it each week!
   • If you have trouble accessing this page, please check with your IT department if your company’s firewall is blocking your access. 
2. You will be prompted to sign in. (Image below.) Please click on the button “LOG IN WITH YOUR ACC ACCOUNT,” and on the next page, log in using the same credentials you use to log into ACC.com.

   • 

     

   • If you don’t see the sign-in pop-up, please click the red “Sign In” button at the top right of the page, and follow the steps in #2 above.

3. To see sessions and roundtables, please click on “Learn” in the Conference sessions tile. To see Speed Networking, click on “Connect” in the Networking tile. 
4. Please fill out the session survey for each session you attended by clicking “Respond” in the Feedback tile.
5. We will continue updating the CLE information tile and page as we receive additional information.

Troubleshooting

1. For the optimal experience, we strongly recommend that you use a desktop computer or laptop to access the sessions, roundtables, and Speed Networking events.
2. If you’re having trouble logging in, click on the “SAML SSO” button on the sign-in pop-up, then use your ACC.com credentials to log in.

3. The red “Join the Webinar” button will appear about 10 minutes before a session starts.

4. If you are using a Safari browser, please allow pop-ups, in order to successfully join a session through the red “Join the Webinar” button.

On Demand Content

• To view the recordings from last week’s main presentation and roundtable (excluding breakouts), please access them through that session's page.
  • We request that you fill out the surveys for the main presentation and roundtable. The surveys are available on the same session page; please scroll to the bottom.

CLE/CPD

After the meeting concludes, ACC will email registrants with instructions on how to obtain their CLE certificate of attendance.

What should I do to get the maximum amount of CLE at CCU?

To maximize the amount of CLE credit you receive at CCU you should attend as many live sessions as you can.

Can’t make it to one of the live instructional sessions? Not to worry! While we encourage live attendance to help maximize your ROI, you will have access to view (and re-view) each session afterward at your convenience. These previously recorded sessions (on-demand content) will be available for attendee viewing during and after the conference. While not pre-approved, the on-demand content may be eligible for CLE/CPD credit under your jurisdiction’s self-study guidelines. Please consult your jurisdiction’s specific rules before submitting for credit for any of on-demand recordings you view. ACC can provide a separate certificate for on-demand content viewed for attendee use in self-filing for credit in the desired jurisdiction(s). 

What is ACC doing / where is ACC applying?

Jurisdictions’ treatment of virtual courses varies – most grant credit for virtual courses, some require that it qualify under self-study rules/limits, and some treat live and on-demand virtual courses differently. 

ACC is applying for CLE/CPD credit for all sessions that are happening live (at the scheduled air dates/times), for requested (at the point of registration) jurisdictions only, unless otherwise noted.

What if ACC is not applying for CLE in my jurisdiction?

Where available, ACC will either apply for credit and submit attendance reports or supply a certificate for attendee use.

Networking

We have a Slack Workspace set up for you, as a registrant, to chat and connect with your peers, discuss challenges and solutions, and share ideas or opinions. 

Please note that this workspace is only occasionally monitored by ACC staff. We ask all participants to use this workspace for its intended purpose, and to abide by the ACC Events Code of Conduct in this workspace, just as they abide by it for the conference.
