2022 ACC Outstanding Member of the Year!

David Cohen is a truly inspirational thought leader who has earned accolades that stretch further than any 50 yard line. Progressing as President-Elect for the Southern California Chapter as well as Chapter President for ACC Tampa Bay, David refused to be contained in one avenue of leadership. He led the Sports and Entertainment Network as Chair for two consecutive terms and didn’t stop there.

ACC members have enjoyed his magnetic and innovative presentation style while hosting numerous impactful events over the years. He has been involved with the ACC Leadership Development Institute (LDI), the ACC Foundation Diversity Dinner, and engaged as faculty during the ACC Foundation’s “Good to Great Lawyers” program. Additionally, David has participated on countless webcasts and in-person panels with chapters and networks alike.

This isn’t the first time David has been recognized for his many talents, having been selected to participate as a member of ACC’s Leadership Excellence Council (LEC). He has also won the Outstanding Network Leader of the Year Award and the Sports and Entertainment Network won Network of the Year under his leadership. Additionally, David just concluded his tenure as Chair of the Network Leadership Council (NLC) for the 2021-2022 term.

David Cohen embodies the statement, “you can practice all you want, but if you can’t play, it’s a lost cause.” David is always in the game. Just glancing at his record you’ll see that he doesn’t quit— he’s always learning, he’s always dedicated and applying new skills, and he always leaves his mark.
