Our Mission
The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) is a global bar association that promotes the common professional and business interests of in-house counsel through information, education, networking opportunities, and advocacy initiatives.
Founded as the American Corporate Counsel Association in 1981, our roots began in the United States. Since our founding, we’ve grown from a small organization of in-house counsel to a worldwide network of legal professionals. Read the story of how ACC grew as an organization of just 2,000 members, to become the global organization it is today.
ACC is not just a professional organization — it’s a global network of legal experts. Membership provides opportunities to broaden your knowledge and expertise through collaboration with peers in your industry and region. ACC memberships are available to individuals and organizations. We encourage you to read more about the benefits of membership to see if ACC is a fit for your organization.
