ACC Europe will host its 23rd Annual Conference, themed "New Horizons – leading in an ever-changing landscape," from 7-9 May in Cacais, Portugal.
CASCAIS, PORTUGAL (20 April 2017) — The Association of Corporate Counsel Europe (ACC Europe), which serves the needs of more than 2,200 in-house lawyers practicing in corporations and other organisations throughout Europe, will host its 23rd Annual Conference, themed "New Horizons – leading in an ever-changing landscape," from 7-9 May in Cacais, Portugal.
With more than 300 corporate counsel from over 20 countries in attendance, ACC Europe will host the largest meeting for in-house lawyers in the region. The programme will feature more than 20 sessions across three tracks (lead the law, lead the business, and lead yourself) as well as "Lead Labs." The "Lead Labs" are small, interactive sessions reserved for 15 to 30 delegates on topics such as crisis management, utilising LinkedIn, and modernising legal department operations on a small budget.

- The new digital normal: legal issues in the borderless world
- Leading dispersed and virtual teams
- Emotional and ethical intelligence in international negotiations
Speakers include in-house lawyers from such companies as GE, Google, Oxfam, Adobe Systems, IBM Italia, KPMG, and Salesforce. The opening plenary, "What does it mean to lead?" will feature Susie Flook, group general counsel, The Body Shop International; Iohann Le Frapper, general counsel & chief legal officer, ChetWode; and Brian Martin, general counsel & senior vice president, Juniper Networks.
