Throughout Northeast Ohio, one in six people is food insecure – meaning they may not know where their next meal will come from. The Greater Cleveland Food Bank seeks to bridge the meal gap, connecting individuals with the nutritious meals they need to succeed.
The Greater Cleveland Food Bank is the largest hunger relief organization in Northeast Ohio having provided more than 57 million meals in 2018 to hungry people in Cuyahoga, Ashtabula, Geauga, Lake, Ashland and Richland counties.
On Wednesday, September 25, volunteer alongside fellow ACC NEO members and Jackson Lewis attorneys at the Cleveland Food Bank.
Agenda
5pm – 6pm Check in volunteers and enjoy pizza and soft drinks
6pm – 8pm We’ll help sort and repack perishable and nonperishable food that is later distributed to local food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters
8pm ~ Post-volunteering drinks at Muldoon’s (1020 E 185th St, 44119)
PLEASE NOTE: Advanced registration is required!
• Volunteers who do not register in advance will not be able to register onsite the day of our event.
• We will be working in a warehouse, please wear closed-toed/closed-heeled shoes and comfortable, appropriate clothes.
