ACC San DiegoFrom sensitive customer data to critical trade secrets, a company's most valuable assets are increasingly vulnerable to cyber threats. That's why the Procopio law firm and ACC San Diego have partnered to offer select in-house counsel the opportunity to learn how to prepare for emerging cyber risks and deploy best practices in risk management, complete with receipt of a program workbook including valuable information, forms and checklists that can be put to use immediately in their own companies.
In an interactive, four-part program in Del Mar Heights, in-house counsel will engage in hands-on learning exercises covering data breach preparation, privacy laws and cyber risk management with ACC peers, industry experts, law enforcement professionals, and Procopio Privacy and Data Security attorneys. Attendees will learn the myriad federal and state laws that govern the private information their companies depend upon and maintain. Workshop leaders will discuss, among other privacy regulations, GDPR, Sec. 5 of the FTC Act, and the forthcoming California privacy law (CCPA).
