The mission of the ACC MN Sounding Board is to foster the professional development of ACC MN members seeking to learn ways to interact more effectively with their business partners. We are delighted to announce that our September 2020 gathering will feature the dynamic speaker and globally recognized expert in diversity and inclusion, Ritu Bhasin.

Join us on Tuesday, September 29, at 4 PM for a presentation and discussion of "The Profound Importance of Authentic Leadership, Especially During a Crisis."

The practice of cultivating authenticity is fundamental to creating an inclusive legal work environment — a culture where every team member feels they can bring their authentic self to work as much as possible. Given the tremendous uncertainty, stress and anxiety, blurred lines between work/home and fear of bias during this crisis, authentic leadership is more important now than ever before. A commitment to authentic leadership will help to unlock belonging, inclusion, psychological safety, empowerment and creativity among team members. 

The learning objectives for this elimination of bias program include the following:

- Understand the link between inclusion, authenticity, belonging and empathy, especially during a crisis

- Recognize authentic leadership and its connection to creating psychological safety at work

- Learn how to address the fear of bias during a time of crisis
