Overview (Program Summary)
A program hosted by:
ACC OntarioEpiq together with the ACC Ontario Chapter invite you to join us for an engaging and interactive seminar on building an effective business case for legal operations resources, which will be held at the elegant Design Exchange in the heart of Toronto's Financial District, with a networking reception to follow.
This program will dig deeper into legal operations, and help you identify what can be measured in a legal department to help demonstrate your value and drive change in legal processes and operations. What can be counted? What data might you have that can be leveraged for measuring purposes? How do you measure metrics in a meaningful way that shows value? Finding resources for innovation and legal operations is challenging. There is often no budget and no headcount, and at first glance, some operational investments look like added costs because you are writing a cheque instead of absorbing costs internally. At this session, we will work through ways to build a business case showing the return on these investments, and help you demonstrate the value and savings in resourcing process changes, legal ops personnel, and/or technology platforms.
This program contains 1 hour and 30 minutes of Professionalism content.
This event is open and free of charge to in-house counsel only and you must RSVP to attend. Please RSVP by no later than Tuesday, March 3, 2020. Space is limited and no walk-ins will be permitted.
