Overview (Program Summary)
A program hosted by:
ACC GeorgiaWhile the legal field has become more diverse in recent years, African Americans remain underrepresented in the legal profession and senior leadership. According to the American Bar Association, only four percent of the more than 1 million lawyers working in the United States identify as black. African Americans account for about 12% of the U.S. population, but occupy only 3.2% of the senior leadership roles at large companies in the U.S. Racial bias in the business world is usually subtle, often going undetected unless coaxed to the surface. Succeeding means battling against prejudice, sometimes daily. Join ACC Georgia Chapter and our esteemed panelists for this dynamic and engaging conversation.
