Jennifer Barron, Partner, Competition + Regulation - Gilbert + Tobin
Jennifer has extensive experience in commercial, regulatory and enforcement matters. Jennifer is sought out for her careful and analytical approach, which takes account of clients’ commercial needs and broader strategies. In external surveys, sources have praised Jennifer’s “great depth of knowledge in Australia’s competition law matters”, calling her “extremely practical and proactive”. Her experience includes assisting clients in relation to competition law aspects of commercial transactions, merger clearance work, assisting clients in relation to ACCC investigations and advising on regulatory issues.
Rebecca Dollisson, Lawyer, Competition + Regulation - Gilbert + Tobin
Rebecca Dollisson has over 10 years’ experience in market regulation and competition law. Rebecca’s expertise spans merger clearance and authorisations, general competition law and regulatory and enforcement work. This has included advising clients in the following sectors: aviation, transport and logistics, construction, financial services, gas and telecommunications.
Rebecca has advised on a number of significant and complex matters, including acting as lead competition counsel with Luke Woodward (G+T partner) in the landmark $9 billion Asciano Limited acquisition by a consortium including Qube, Brookfield Infrastructure Partners LP and a group of global investment funds.
Rebecca has a track record of achieving outstanding commercial and strategic results for clients and has also had in- house experience with clients both in a general commercial law capacity and to assist in regulatory investigations.
