Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC San Francisco Bay Area

Pay equity continues to be a focus for employers and their employees, government agencies, shareholders and plaintiffs’ class action attorneys. The discussion expands beyond gender, as states continue to adopt laws that mandate pay equity based on race and other protected classes. Pay equity also is an important component of a public commitment to a culture that supports racial justice, including in the workplace.

This program will discuss a range of topics as outlined below, including the controversial Executive Order 13950 intended to “combat offensive and anti-American race and sex stereotyping and scapegoating.”

  • Update on the EEOC’s review of how they may use collected EEO-2 data
  • California’s new pay data reporting obligations
  • Colorado’s new pay equity law and “transparency” requirements Oracle’s win against the OFCCP on systemic workplace discrimination claims
