• public inquiries into gaming and aged care;
• the community reaction to Juukan Gorge; and
• changing expectations in relation to workplace culture.

Speakers
Tim O’Leary, Partner, Disputes + Investigations
Tim acts for clients in relation to contractual disputes, insolvency disputes, regulatory investigations and Corporations Act matters, including schemes of arrangement. Tim appears regularly in the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the Federal Court of Australia, and also practises in the Mining Warden's Court. He provides advice on all aspects of corporate, commercial and resources and energy law.
Lauren Shave, Special Counsel, Disputes + Investigations
Lauren acts for clients in relation to contractual negotiations and disputes, resources law, native title, work health and safety and commercial litigation generally, including judicial review of administrative decisions. Lauren practices in the Supreme Court, Federal Court and Mining Warden’s jurisdictions.
Lauren is the current Secretary of the WA Branch of Australian Mining and Petroleum Law Association (AMPLA).
