Description:

In 2020, the T-Mobile Technology team began looking at historical terms that have been deemed as offensive, and creating a roadmap to change those terms. The initial focus was on replacing the technology terms of master/slave and blacklist/whitelist to more inclusive terminology. This effort grew, and started looking at terms across the corporate landscape. Cathy Sindos, Group Project Manager at T-Mobile and a core team member leading this movement, will give an overview of this journey.

During this presentation, we'll explore what inclusive language is, and provide examples, to ensure you create a more inclusive workplace environment and more inclusive legal materials.
