ACC NortheastManaging third-party risk is becoming increasingly complex for the enterprise, and particularly so for organizations operating in emerging and high-risk markets. Business suppliers, software vendors, and contractors provide important services, but their benefits should be regularly measured (and monitored) against a growing list of compliance, security, and operational risks.
Additionally, third-party risk is often tied to when a company outsources services or uses software from a provider, and then adverse events like a data breach or operational data loss occur. Given that far more data now is tracked including by marketers for digital advertising, it is important to understand how your third parties are staying compliant with regulatory expectations.
