We will provide a high-level primer on NFTs and the metaverse, so that you can easily talk the talk, and issue spot. More importantly, we will focus on how everyday companies, not in the tech space, can take advantage of the NFT boom, and generate additional revenue streams with very little investment.
We will also provide a quick overview of what some of your competitors are doing in this space – from gaming/hospitality to real estate. Lastly, we will provide best practices for protecting and enforcing your rights in the metaverse and beyond.
Speakers
- Jennifer Ko Craft – Jennifer is a Member Partner in Dickinson Wright’s Las Vegas office, and the Chair of their Sports and Entertainment Practice Group. She practices primarily in the areas of domestic and international trademark and copyright prosecution, licensing and enforcement. Jennifer consults with clients in identifying various protectable aspects of the clients’ products, services and concepts, and in developing and managing their intellectual property portfolios.
- John L. Krieger – John is a Member Partner in Dickinson Wright’s Las Vegas office. He concentrates his practice on intellectual property litigation in both state and federal court; prosecuting and defending clients for claims including trademark infringement, copyright infringement, patent infringement, domain name, and anti-counterfeiting litigation; as well as trade secret misappropriation and unfair competition.
- Matthew Digesti – Matthew is Vice President of Government Affairs and Strategic Initiatives of Blockchains, LLC. Matthew’s role includes leading the company’s strategy, which utilizes blockchain and other innovative technologies to build new systems, new security, and new interactions. He served on the ACC Nevada Chapter’s Board of Directors from 2017-2019.
