Overview (Program Summary)

ACC NortheastIf you are new to in-house or are just looking for a quick refresher, this is your opportunity to be introduced to topics you are likely to encounter in an in-house role, and to which you may not have had much exposure in your prior roles. These “intro” programs will be presented by attorneys from Preti, Flaherty, Beliveau & Pachios, Chartered, LLP, the sponsors of the NextGen Committee.
Corporations routinely receive notices for depositions pursuant to Rule 30(b)(6). The rule, which applies even if not a party to the underlying litigation, requires the corporation to designate one or more individuals to testify on its behalf. This virtual session will further address this situation, and provide best practices to follow as well as the pitfalls to avoid.
We encourage you to bring a colleague and/or someone you know who is new to in-house. Members are also encouraged to invite non-members as this is a great learning opportunity.
