ACC Research Triangle AreaThis CLE will review (a) recent developments in Department of Justice (DOJ) policies regarding criminal enforcement and potential implications, (b) DOJ enforcement trends and insights; and, (c) best practices for avoiding and managing allegations of corporate misconduct including crucial compliance policies, practices and red flags; development of a culture of compliance, and strategic considerations once an allegation is raised, including common challenges, structuring and executing successful internal investigations, and landmines to avoid along the way.
