Overview (Program Summary)
A program hosted by:
ACC Southern CaliforniaDiscover the power of diversity on corporate boards! While research underscores the role of board diversity in boosting profitability and productivity, there's a persistent underrepresentation of women, especially Black women and women of color, on corporate boards. Despite legislative efforts to bridge the gender gap, progress has been slow. At this event, our panelists will delve into key topics, including finding board opportunities, the essentials of board service, questions to ask when considering a board position, identifying the right board fit, effective self-promotion, and the role of male allies in advancing women to leadership roles.
You will not want to miss what is sure to be an enlightening discussion and a chance to mingle with our guest speakers and other professionals over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
We look forward to seeing you at this exciting event!
