The Agenda for the 25th Annual Event will vary slightly from years past. With many upgrades for this 25th Annual event, we are thrilled to announce that our golfers will once again be able to enjoy one of Houston's premier golf courses, Wildcat Golf Club.  Wildcat Golf Course is located at 12000 Almeda Rd, Houston, TX 77045. Wildcat Golf Club is the preferred golf club of Houston’s professional sports teams, with two spectacular championship 18-hole golf courses, The Lakes & The Highlands. Conveniently located in Houston, Texas. Wildcat Golf Club is a quick trip from the Galleria, Medical Center, and all Downtown Houston attractions. Both courses feature elevation changes up to 100 feet, providing spectacular views of Houston’s Downtown skyline and the NRG Stadium complex. Wildcat Golf Club combines links-style layouts with Texas Hill Country topography, Houston hospitality, and the fun, competitive spirit of Houston’s sports teams. Designed by renowned golf architect Roy Case, Wildcat Golf Club is like no other golf experience in the Southeast Texas area.

Not to be outdone by golf, our spa attendees will have fabulous amenities and a wonderfully relaxing time at Trellis Spa at The Houstonian Hotel.  ACC Houston has ensured a full day spa event buyout at The Trellis.  Our members and sponsors are allowed full access to the soaking pools, saunas, gardens, locker rooms, Cabanas and dining facilities.  The Trellis offers relaxation and tranquility rooms.  Additionally, we have set aside designated work spaces for those of you who must take that work call or need to check emails.  Trellis spa boasts as a Mediterranean style spa surrounding a courtyard that offers a beautiful, natural garden environment seen through large windows located throughout the spa.  In the newly renovated spa, our attendees will choose from massage, facial, manicure and pedicure treatments and will also have options for indoor racquet activities! As always, we will have tennis lessons with the pros at The Houstonian Club along with outstanding yoga classes. ACC Houston members will also have their choice to attend a floral design class sponsored by Kean Miller.  This is our annual "Can't Miss Event"!  Plan to carve out time for the whole day for this event; you'll be glad you did!

Additional Information

  • Please note that this year we have implemented a $50 charge for spa attendees.  For many years, we have been able to host this event at no cost to our members, thanks to generous sponsorships and careful budgeting.  However, due to rising costs across the board and to ensure the continued quality and standard of excellence that you have come to expect at our signature spa event, we will be instituting this minimal charge. We appreciate your understanding and continued support.  Our goal is to provide an enjoyable and memorable experience for all participants, and we believe that this small fee will enable us to do just that.  For those who are familiar with Trellis Spa, you know that this opportunity still represents a tremendous value.
  • All tickets come with admission to the Ethics Seminar.  The only exception to this is the Reception ONLY ticket.
  • This event is for ACC Houston Members and current 2024 ACC Houston Sponsors only.
  • If, as a member, you have any issues registering for a member ticket, please email Elena Baer at Houston@accglobal.com for assistance.  Please DO NOT register for a non-member ticket.  This will result in your ticket being invalid.
  • Spa appointment times will be emailed to you by September 3 (or earlier).  Please DO NOT contact the Trellis Spa directly unless otherwise instructed by ACC Houston.
  • Each spa attendee will be given one Trellis spa treatment and their choice of supplemental activity (tennis, yoga or floral design) along with the full day's access to all of the spa facilities, as part of the ACC Houston spa buyout.
  • If you have any special needs, please make your notes in your registration form. (Ex: Prenatal Massage needed, appointment timing preferences or therapist preferences for male/female etc.)  Every effort will be made to make accommodations to preferences noted; however, we may not be able to make ALL preferences available.

Effective and Ethical Advocacy as Demonstrated by our Best Presidential Persuaders.
Explanation of Topic: There are many ways to effectively advocate a position, and our greatest presidents each had his own way of getting the job done---through their integrity and unique powers of persuasion. In this presidential election year, the presentation will cover the specifics of what made George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Dwight Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, and Ronald Reagan such stellar persuaders during the years they led our nation.  Their high integrity and sound communication approaches are certainly worthy of emulation by today’s lawyers.
