Lawyers and Addictions: Finding Hope and Healing

This program will cover the factors that push lawyers to unhealthy behaviors, the prevalence of drug and alcohol abuse, and possible options in addressing the situation. We will also discuss steps that colleagues, friends and family can take to support their struggling attorney in finding hope and healing.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the seminar, the participant will be able to:

  • Identify the warning signs of addiction and substance abuse.
  • Develop strategies for assisting colleagues who are struggling.
  • Discover resources for lawyers coping with substance abuse or addiction.
