ACC National Capital RegionAs federal agencies continue to implement the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), and other appropriations statutes, billions of dollars are flowing out of the federal government in the form of grants, cooperative agreements, and other types of financial assistance. Much of this money is being awarded directly to private companies, but it comes with strings attached. Jamie Tabb and Tyler Robinson of Vinson & Elkins will discuss the common compliance obligations for recipients of federal financial assistance, to include national policy requirements, financial tracking and reporting, adherence to federal cost principles, audits, domestic preferences, and requirements relating to procurement by recipients using federal funds.
