How to Best Protect Against and Respond to Minority Shareholder Claims
Presented by John Kirtley and Matt Wuest
We’ll discuss shareholder disputes in publicly traded and privately held companies (including LLCs). Additional topics include shareholder demands for access to books and records, derivative demands, oppression claims, share transfer restrictions, proxy fights, breach of fiduciary duty, class actions and D&O coverage. The focus will be best practices/preventative measures to protect against what are often “bet the company” disputes.
