the collection was curated and brought to Denver.
About the Exhibit
Wild Things Are Happening: The Art of Maurice Sendak is the first major retrospective of Sendak since
his death in 2012, and the largest and most complete exhibition of one of the most celebrated and original
artists of our time. Highlights include original work for Sendak’s most famous books:

Hot Topics in Art Law: What is Art Law?
This program will provide a broad overview of the issues and legal developments affecting the world of art and
will highlight how these issues intersect with multiple types of industries and participants. Guests also will learn
how art law intersects with in-house law departments and how to become involved in the art law practice.
Topics covered will range from:
restitution and repatriation of stolen or looted art to copyright infringement
antitrust
art insurance
commercial litigation
The program will also include a discussion of legal issues
surrounding generative AI as it relates to art and product design.
