Annual Managing Partner/General Counsel Forum

ACC Northeast is pleased to offer our GC/CLO members another relevant event this November.  Our Annual Managing Partner/General Counsel Forum will be held on November 19th, at PwC's offices in Boston, and will feature an interactive session/breakouts on Boardroom Priorities, facilitated by PwC.  This event will allow for meaningful discussion, peer to peer interaction, and networking.

Boardroom Priorities: Navigating Post-Election Themes, Geopolitical Shifts, and Emerging Risks

Today's business environment is rapidly shifting, and boards of directors are at the helm of navigating these changes. This forum will delve into pressing concerns, including post-election themes, the evolving geopolitical landscape, and related challenges facing General Counsels (GCs) and the Managing Partners (MPs) who work with them. We will provide updates on the regulatory landscape and explore the role of Generative AI (GenAI), questioning whether organizations are keeping pace with their peers or if the technology is over-hyped. Additionally, we will address the challenge of balancing capacity with cost reduction pressures.

Discussions will cover strategic decision-making, ongoing concerns with activist investors, and proxy season for public companies. We will emphasize creating business value while maintaining high expectations for risk protection. You are encouraged to share your experiences, ideas, challenges, and solutions during our panel discussions, facilitated breakout groups, and open dialogue sessions.
