COURSE DETAILS
The Ethics of Outside Counsel Guidelines: Explore the ethical considerations involved in adhering to outside counsel guidelines. This session will examine potential conflicts, compliance challenges, and the responsibilities of legal professionals when navigating these contractual obligations.

What is Civility: Delve into the importance of civility in the legal profession and its ethical implications. This session will examine ethical rules and guidance related to civility and best practices for maintaining professionalism and respect in communications with opposing counsel and courts.

The O’Jays and Joint Representation: This session will analyze the ethical complexities of joint representation, drawing lessons and inspiration from the music of R&B group The O’Jays. Attendees will learn about conflicts of interest that can arise and factors to consider when deciding whether to proceed with a joint representation.
