ACC ChicagoThis interactive panel discussion will identify the latest regulatory developments related to cybersecurity from the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and various federal and state initiatives, not all of which are in harmony. The panel will offer suggestions to the audience with the benefit of their own experiences of managing cybersecurity events across complex organizations, including collaboration across finance, information technology and legal departments, senior management, members of the audit committee and other board directors, customers, technology vendors and external counsel and auditors. Panelists include Benesch partners Aslam Rawoof and Ryan Sulkin, as well as industry experts in technology and cybersecurity.

Navroop Mitter, CEO, ArmorText
Before founding ArmorText, Navroop was an executive at Accenture’s North American Security Practice, specializing in governance, risk, compliance, business continuity, and cyber resilience in emerging markets. He successfully led international engagements and established profitable cybersecurity practices in the United States, Sweden, and Argentina.
As a trusted expert in safeguarding sensitive communications and strengthening emergency response preparedness throughout the critical infrastructure community, Navroop serves on several technology advisory boards. He has advised state and presidential campaigns, legislators, and congressional staffers on encryption, cyber threats to national security, and public policy. Navroop has presented at major industry events such as the National Council of Information Sharing and Analysis Centers, Florida Institute for Human & Machine Cognition, American Turkish Council’s International Business and Technology Forum, Northwestern University Law School, Williamson College Business School, and the South Asian Bar Association as well as specialized private forums and working sessions for Government, Defense, and Special Forces audiences.
Navroop and his team bring expertise from serving the needs of 700+ organizations who entrust security operations, incident response, threat intelligence sharing, and highly sensitive executive and board communications to ArmorText as well as practical insights from engaging with over 40 organizations just this past year for their incident response tabletop exercises.
Mark Grazman, CEO of Conversant Group (Wednesday panel only)
Mr. Grazman is the CEO and co-founder of Fenix24 (a Conversant Group Company), the world's largest incident response restoration company. Fenix24 has done 15 Fortune 500 breach responses over the past 18 months, and has changed the industry in terms of speeding up restoration and reducing downtime and business interruption.
Mr. Grazman is also the CEO of Conversant Group, a defensive cybersecurity company with peacetime advisory and remediation services. Conversant Group has done the cybersecurity benchmarking survey for the largest association of law firms, and in 2025 will be leading the industry wide analysis for the largest association of insurance carriers as well. Previously, Mr. Grazman was CEO of an email security company named MessageControl which he sold to Mimecast in 2020.
Aslam A. Rawoof, Benesch, Partner, Corporate & Securities Practice Group
Aslam has a broad transactional practice, including capital markets transactions and corporate governance matters. Aslam represents issuers, underwriters and servicers on a variety of complex securities matters, including initial public offerings, other public and private equity offerings, fund formation and offering matters, investment grade and high-yield debt offerings, acquisition financings, debt tender offers, exchange offers, securitizations and other refinancing transactions. In addition, Aslam advises clients with respect to general corporate and corporate governance matters, including with respect to Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Ryan T. Sulkin, Benesch, Partner, Intellectual Property Practice Group
Ryan’s practice resides squarely at the intersection of technology and data, and Ryan regularly advises clients with respect to complex technology transactions, including SaaS, cloud, software development, professional services, and outsourcing arrangements. He also provides risk-based and actionable legal counsel to clients on data privacy and cybersecurity matters across a wide range of data-rich, highly regulated industries, including financial services, payments, health care, higher education, retail, hospitality, and technology. Additionally, Ryan’s cybersecurity experience includes designing security programs to protect trade secrets and building data governance programs that have addressed the proper management of trade secrets. He regularly advises clients with respect to CCPA, CPRA (and similar laws emerging in numerous US states), GDPR, HIPAA, GLBA, TCPA, FCRA, COPPA, CAN-SPAM, PCI-DSS, NYDFS, data breach notice laws, and cross-border matters involving global laws and regulations.
