Overview (Program Summary)
A program hosted by:
ACC Southern CaliforniaGratitude. The state and trait of feeling thankful for and appreciating the good things in one’s life. While saying thanks seems like a simple gesture, neuropsychological research has linked the practice of gratitude to improved emotion, sleep, engagement, immunity, resilience, self-care, relationships, and overall physical and mental well-being. When people express gratitude, their brains release dopamine, serotonin, and oxytocin, neurotransmitters associated with a sense of contentment, happiness, and bonding.
This month we invite you to be scientists and observe how a conscious, daily gratitude practice affects your lives.
Over the course of 21-days, you will receive daily prompts to reflect upon and note in your journal. At the end of the challenge, we will gather on a Zoom meeting to share our experience.
Thanks to our generous sponsors, Mintz and Blank Rome, the first 70 people who sign up for the challenge will receive a Gratitude Journal!
Challenge Dates: March 6-26, 2024
Zoom Meeting: March 28, 12:00 – 12:45 p.m.
