ACC Southern CaliforniaThe Well-Being Committee invites you to a series of weekly online Tai Chi classes. Tai Chi is an ancient martial art that is widely practiced as a form of rehabilitation and moving meditation. In this beginner-friendly, series of 6 classes, you will progressively learn the first 8 movements of the Tai Chi 24 Yang Style, along with gentle stretches, balance exercises and six simple Qigong movements.
Taught by Tai Chi instructor and Reiki Master, Angie Sierra, the class will focus on enhancing physical wellness through fluid and balanced movements, mental clarity, and relaxation techniques. Relying on her extensive experience in both academic and community-based wellness education, Angie has curated this program so individuals of any age and fitness level can participate. Her approach integrates conscious breathing, body alignment, and environmental awareness, enhancing the therapeutic impact of Tai Chi.
