ACC NortheastACC Northeast and Pierce Atwood are pleased to present our next partnered webinar to dive into Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions.
In-house counsel must understand the legal risk of new-to-market AI solutions. Using a real-world hypothetical, Pierce Atwood attorneys Tim Fisher, Vivek Rao and Ariel Pardee will present a contract negotiation between an AI technology supplier and its consumer-facing enterprise customer. We will describe the preferred first positions each side is likely to put forward on topics such as:
- Infringement;
- Representations and warranties (including with respect to explainability, bias, transparency, accuracy, and privacy);
- Ongoing model risk management and governance.
We will then discuss how, during counter, in-house counsel can unpack the AI solution’s design to unlock more nuanced approaches to these topics and avoid negotiation stalemates.
