Virtual Zoom Presentation
Program Description: Companies and law firms are looking for ways to commit to meaningful change in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusivity (DEI). For those efforts to be successful, it is critical to better understand the ways in which implicit bias manifests itself in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). As more and more companies integrate AI in their products, services, and processes, the need for fairness and non-discrimination in AI-based decision-making becomes increasingly important. This panel will offer practical strategies on how companies can detect and mitigate ethical risks rooted in implicit bias as they leverage AI to improve productivity and performance.
Course Outline:
· DEI & AI Overview (15 minutes)
· Implications of Using AI (15 minutes)
· Ethical Best Practices & Mitigating Risk (25 minutes)
· Conclusion and Q&A (5 minutes)
We encourage members to bring an associate or colleague that may be interested in joining the ACC Mid-America Chapter. The Association of Corporate Counsel offers numerous benefits and resources to in-house counsel including CLE offerings and networking opportunities and we look forward to sharing that information with others in the field.
