ACC NortheastJoin us for a dynamic and practical discussion that explores the complexities of the ESG landscape and the anti-ESG movement. As in-house counsel, you should understand the risks associated with having (or not having) stated policies and goals relating to ESG initiatives in order to properly advise your company’s leadership. This program will explore:
- Navigating the conflicting and uncertain ESG regulatory requirements: CSRD, the SEC Climate Rule and California climate disclosure requirements;
- How the Anti-ESG movement affects corporate ESG programs and corporate responses;
- The differences between public and private companies in compliance with ESG regulatory requirements and voluntary ESG programs;
- The potential impact of the U.S. Presidential election on corporate ESG programs.
