ACC Westchester/Southern CTAre you owed a significant sum by a company or contractor that might be filing for bankruptcy? Are you looking for ways to protect your right to payment? Then this CLE is for you! You must understand the bankruptcy process in order to protect your rights and claims. Chapter 11 provides debtors with a “fresh start,” relieving them of their financial obligations by creating an orderly and efficient process to pay off creditors.
This CLE will address issues of concern to companies that are creditors of a Chapter 11 Debtor. It will also provide an overview of the Chapter 11 process and review essential bankruptcy concepts and legal principles.
