In this session Partner, Andrew Prowse and Special Counsel, Simone Blackadder will cover the law and provide practical tips for drafting and negotiating limitations of liability.

Andrew Prowse, Partner, Baker McKenzie
Andrew Prowse is a partner in the Dispute Resolution Group of Baker McKenzie's Melbourne office. Andrew's practice focuses on large-scale commercial litigation. He has extensive experience in complex shareholder disputes and in major proceedings concerning allegations of misleading and deceptive conduct, breaches of warranty and breaches of the Corporations Act. Andrew also has experience in conducting and managing various interlocutory aspects of large commercial litigation, including discovery, expert evidence and the hearing of interlocutory applications.
Simone Blackadder, Special Counsel, Baker McKenzie
Simone Blackadder is a special counsel in Baker McKenzie's IP Tech team in Sydney. Simone focuses on providing commercial contracting advice for service and outsourcing arrangements. Simone also provides advice on regulatory and privacy issues for IT, online, financial services and technology businesses. Simone regularly advises on cyber security, including compliance and cyber response incidents. Key industry sectors in which Simone works are TMT, consumer goods and retail and financial sectors.
