Insurance Basics for In-House Counsel

We will provide an overview of key coverages and insurance policy terms, common exclusions, and recommended types and amounts of coverage based on the insured’s business model and risk profile. Attendees will learn about common contractual provisions regarding insurance coverage obligations of contracting parties, filing claims with insurers (when and under what circumstances advisable) and disputing coverage denials. We will also share trends in COVID-related coverage litigation.
