This will be a fast-moving presentation covering all of the labor and employment law changes out of Washington in the last six months, as well as updates on North Carolina law. Speakers will discuss the new administration’s focus on DEI initiatives, the EEOC’s new workplace harassment guidelines, changes at the OFCCP, NLRB and workplace safety updates, impacts on business immigration, and the latest employer benchmarking data collected by Ogletree Deakins.

Allen Thomas - Allen is a shareholder in the Raleigh office.  Allen partners with employers to establish best practices and navigate issues involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, employee misclassification, and employee agreements and policies. Allen also defends employers against claims of discrimination, harassment, and wrongful discharge before federal courts, state courts, and administrative agencies. Sar - Bob is the Office Managing Shareholder of the Raleigh office and assists employers in all areas of labor and employment law, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistle-blowers, wage and hour, class and collective actions, non-competition and non-disclosure covenants, leaves of absence, employment agreements and policies, union labor matters, and workplace safety. Michael McKnight - Michael is a shareholder in the Raleigh office and co-chair of the firm’s Manufacturing Practice Group.
