Bringing together the Page Seager team, this facilitated discussion with consider trending topics in these areas and using the collective brain power of attendees to work through how we would manage them.

Speakers


Brett

Brett Garth, Senior Associate, Page Seager Lawyers

Brett works with both private and corporate clients, specialising in mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance and structures.

Brett also advises in relation to finance and security arrangements and has previous experience in commercial property acquisitions and disposals, and commercial and retail leasing.

Brett joined Page Seager in 2016. In 2019, he moved to London for three years where he worked as an in-house counsel for the United Kingdom’s largest rolling stock company, specialising in large-scale leasing and procurement transactions before returning to Page Seager in 2021.


Eve

Eve Dordhain, Senior Associate, Page Seager Lawyers

Eve has experience advising public and private sector clients in relation to a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters, including general civil litigation, trust and estate disputes, and administrative law / judicial review matters.

Prior to joining the Dispute Resolution group at Page Seager in January 2022, Eve worked as a lawyer at another Hobart law firm, practising primarily in litigation and dispute resolution. Eve was recognised in the Doyles Guide as a Recommended Wills & Estates Litigation Lawyer in 2021.

Eve regularly appears in the Magistrates Court and Supreme Court of Tasmania, and acts for clients to resolve matters through mediation, arbitration, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.


Niki

Niki Powell, Senior Associate, Page Seager Lawyers

Niki is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution group, with experience advising clients in relation to complex litigious matters and insolvency-related disputes across a variety of industries. She enjoys working closely with clients to understand their specific needs in order to provide practical and tailored advice.

Prior to joining Page Seager in October 2024, Niki worked as a solicitor for firms in Melbourne and Brisbane in the areas of dispute resolution and restructuring. She has experience working on matters involving jurisdictions across Australia and internationally, including the United Kingdom.

Niki holds a Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degree from the University of Melbourne and was admitted in the Supreme Court of Victoria and High Court of Australia.
