ACC’s Commitment to Diversity
In today's era of increased commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, ACC is similarly committed to ensuring that all programs at its meetings are presented from diverse perspectives. This diversity should reflect not just the type and years of work experience, law department size, and geographic location, but also race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, and physical abilities.
ACC aims for 100% of our sessions to feature women and people of color, and for legal professionals from other underrepresented groups in our profession to be showcased frequently and prominently as well. ACC encourages all Program Organizers to put forth candidates with these diversity objectives in mind and reserves the right to reject a proposed panel of speakers if no people of color or women are presented.
If you have been unable to identify any women and/or people of color with the requisite expertise or experience to speak on your topic, please reach out to your ACC staff liaison and they will happily assist with your recruitment efforts.
Thank you for being part of ACC’s efforts to promote diversity and inclusion in the legal profession.
