If first impressions count then this is proof that the 26th In-House Legal National Conference is set to be the best conference yet!
Kemi Nekvapil, ICF credentialed executive and personal coach, international speaker and author is our first keynote speaker to be announced for November’s virtual conference. Kemi’s work has taken her around the globe, including to Texas where she trained with Dr Brenè Brown, and to Richard Branson’s Necker Island where she spoke about ‘humanity at work’. Having worked with legal leaders for many years (her husband is also a barrister!), Kemi is well aware of the difficulty lawyers have when clear precedents don’t exist. She also understands that working without a sense of certainty takes many legal leaders well beyond their comfort zones. On Wednesday 18th November, Kemi will join us to share her insight and wisdom on “Leading with Courage in Times of Uncertainty”, where she will work through strategies to unlock obstacles that prevent us offering value-based leadership. |
Who is Kemi?
Kemi spent her entire childhood in foster care in Britain and she has used the disempowerment she experienced in her early life to inspire others to create lives of worthiness and fulfillment. After dabbling as a baker, chef, actor and yoga teacher, Kemi went onto study leadership and purpose at The Gross National Happiness Centre in Bhutan and ever since has been sharing her insights and teachings on how to anchor personal power, to influence and achieve what we need and want.
Kemi is the author of Raw Beauty - The 7 Principles to nourish your body, transform your mind and create the life you want and, The Gift Of Asking - A woman's guide to creating personal power. She is also a mother of teenagers, an endurance athlete running 42km-100km races, a dedicated gardener and lover of really good food.
Why did we invite Kemi to speak?
While the personal and professional development space is often crowded with confusing messages, Kemi’s distinctive approach, quoted as being ‘humorous and having an unapologetic narrative’, will cut through the jargon. She will provide a refreshingly rare insight into building courage and leading through uncertainty. Kemi Nekvapil is committed to making a measurable impact so be sure to register for your ticket today, so you too can unlock obstacles and lead with courage.
Kemi Nekvapil is the first of many high calibre speakers from Australia and overseas, who will share their views and expertise this November. The full conference program is set to be released early July so be sure to keep an eye out on social media to hear as soon as it is released!
