Melissa commenced with BAC in March 2019 as senior legal counsel. In July 2020, she was promoted to Head of Legal Services and subsequently to General Counsel in December 2020. Melissa was appointed Company Secretary in November 2021. Melissa is a member of Brisbane Airport Corporation's Leadership Team and leads her own team of 9 staff.
Melissa has more than 18 years’ experience as a corporate / commercial lawyer and prior to her role at BAC, Melissa worked in private practice with McCullough Robertson and in in-house legal roles supporting a broad range of clients. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Laws / Science (in Environmental Science) from Griffith University and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
