Natalie Drew
Legal and Commercial Manager
Yara International
Natalie Drew is a commercial lawyer with significant in-house experience in the industrial manufacturing, oil and gas, and mining sectors.
As a law graduate, Natalie started her career in the corporate and commercial team of a global law firm.
After a successful secondment with an ASX-listed lithium company, Natalie transitioned to a dual in-house legal and company secretarial role. She supported the company as it moved from its feasibility phase, through construction, and into first commercial production.
Natalie’s next role was as legal counsel with a Japanese oil and gas corporation, where she primarily supported the contracts and procurement team.
In search of new energy projects, Natalie accepted a role with Yara Pilbara in 2021 to lead the legal negotiations for Project Yuri, a renewable hydrogen and ammonia pilot plant.
Natalie is now the head of Yara Pilbara’s Australian legal, commercial and company secretarial functions. She is pleased to continue working on decarbonisation initiatives, including a potential carbon capture and storage project.
