This program will address these problems and how to manage the risk of sourcing products from China. A panel of experts will discuss the "Action Plan for Import Safety" report to the president, the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act, the FDA guidance for third-party certification programs and other steps your company can take to protect itself and its customers.

Congress recently passed the most significant amendments to the federal consumer product safety laws in 30 years. These changes affect not just manufacturers of consumer products, but also importers, private labelers, distributors and retailers.
