Work/life balance – is it a catchy phrase or something that affects everything? Post-pandemic, the idea of work/life balance has a new meaning both psychologically and in terms of policy making. In this session we will investigate:
• How do different generations view work/life balance?
• What are employers doing to attract and retain employees that are seeking more balance between work, family, and pleasure?
• What are organizational scholars and psychologists saying about productivity and health related to work/life balance?
• Is remote working increasing corporate revenues and employee salaries, while offering more work/life balance?
• If I am working remotely, how do I keep a seat at the table and grow my career effectively versus those that are working in the office?
• What are the pros and cons of remote, hybrid, and in-office models?
• I’m a homebody and prefer remote work versus the classic type A personality – tools for both.
