ACC NCR is seeking volunteers to participate in our annual Street Law Programs at Clarksburg High School in Clarksburg, Maryland (in partnership with EchoStar | Hughes) and Potomac High School in Oxon Hill, Maryland (in partnership with the ACC Foundation).    

Volunteers are needed for:

Clarksburg High School

  • Classroom visits to teach legal concepts (volunteers teach in teams of two; approx. 50 minutes of class time; materials will be provided).  We will follow up with those expressing interest to schedule the visits in March.  
  • Capstone celebration on April 22 at EchoStar | Hughes in Germantown.  Spend your morning with the students, helping them apply what they learned in the classroom and sharing your experiences as an in-house attorney.

Potomac High School

  • Classroom visits to teach legal concepts (volunteers teach in teams of three or four; approx. 70 minutes of class time; materials will be provided).  We will follow up with those expressing interest to schedule the visits in late February and March. 
  • Capstone celebration on April 30 at ACC Global's headquarters in DC.  Spend your morning with the students, teaching them additional legal concepts, and sharing your experiences as an in-house attorney.

To participate, please register as soon as possible, preferably by Friday, February 21.
