Carmel Mulhern is Group General Counsel and Group Executive, Legal & Group Governance at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. She has responsibility for the Group’s Legal and Governance teams and advises the CEO and the Board on legal matters and corporate governance. Her priorities are to ensure the fair and efficient resolution of the Group’s legal matters and support the board's effectiveness. Carmel is a member, (and inaugural chair), of the Association of Corporate Counsel GC100 and a member of Chief Executive Women.

Anna is the Group General Manager Risk & Legal, Programmed and ACC Australia Board Member and Immediate Past-President Victorian Chapter. With more than 25,000 employees, Programmed is a leading provider of operations and maintenance services across all industry sectors, including education, health, infrastructure, manufacturing, transport and mining in Australia and New Zealand. She is a member of the executive team and acts as company secretary for over 50 companies in the group and as executive director of Programmed’s main operating entity, Programmed Maintenance Services Limited. 

Kate Sherburn Kate is the sole Legal Beagle (aka in-house counsel) at Who Gives A Crap. This involves advising on a very broad range of issues, including global compliance with regulatory requirements, contracting, privacy, risk management, IP, marketing claims and legal management (plus anything else that gets thrown her way!) She is creating the legal function from the ground up in a rapidly changing environment.

He is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) ANZ Advisory Board. He has held senior privacy and transformation roles in the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Westpac, and the NSW Government. In 2020, Tim was named one of the “Agile 50” - the “World’s 50 Most Influential People Revolutionising Governance” - by the OECD and Apolitical.

Christopher Hatfield Chris Hatfield is an experienced technologist specialising in providing forensic technology solutions to a broad range of clients across multiple industries and jurisdictions at FTI Consulting. For over 20 years Chris has worked in forensic technology, information security, and cyber investigations, gaining considerable experience in both the technical and strategic application of technology-centric solutions for his clients. He advises clients in digital forensics and e-discovery during investigations, litigation, arbitration, and regulatory inquiries. Who’s Who Legal have noted that Chris is a “real strategist” and that clients describe him as “fiercely talented”.

As a trained psychologist, she has extensive experience in bringing the science of optimal performance and wellbeing to life to assist both individuals and organisations to thrive. Rachel is an experienced facilitator and coach with expertise in goal setting and achievement, leadership development, and wellbeing.  

Rachel will give guidance on self-care strategies, and methods managers can use to ensure their remote team of dedicated and conscientious lawyers are not collectively heading for burnout working part- or full-time from their homes. 

Paul Garth Paul heads up Pinsent Masons Vario’s flexible legal services team in Australia. Having previously worked in the legal sector for over ten years as a recruitment and search consultant, Paul has assisted lawyers with critical career moves to and from every continent on earth!

Steve prides himself on being a trusted adviser that provides no-nonsense, straightforward, and solutions-focused legal advice to quickly achieve business objectives. 
Rebecca Taube Rebecca Taube is Deputy General Counsel at RMIT University, supporting the Online and Industry Engagement portfolios and RMIT Activator, the university's entrepreneurial start-up incubator. Rebecca’s experience also includes working at LOreal, Myer, King & Wood Mallesons; as Justice Crennan's Associate in the High Court of Australia; as a Research Associate in the Federal Court of Australia and completing her articles at Herbert Smith Freehills.
