The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) has advised the Hong Kong Law Society (HKLS) against changes to the Foreign Lawyers Registration Rules (FLRR).

Hans Albers, chief of staff legal and associate general counsel, Juniper Networks, was elected president of the ACC Europe board of directors.

The ACC 2018 Global Compensation Report includes salary and benefits data from more than 5,000 in-house counsel and legal operations professionals in 65 countries.

In her new role, McDonald will lead the ACC legal department responsible for all Office of the General Counsel (OGC) responsibilities.

The fourth annual conference will cover topics addressing the broad scope of legal operations professionals' responsibilities, with special focus on how these leaders can use the ACC Legal Operations Maturity Model to advance in 14 different law department management functions

The conference is themed, "The Legal Profession in the New Economy - Developing Leadership for Uncertain Times," 20-22 May in Paris.
