Outstanding Small/Large Network of the Year Award
The Sports and Entertainment Network is the winner in the small category. During this award period, the network achieved eight percent membership growth, and produced 12 written resources and 13 virtual presentations. The Sports and Entertainment Network further advanced ACC's strategic initiatives by building and nurturing partnerships with other ACC networks and chapters, as well as outside organizations. Further, the network continues its efforts through social media. On Twitter, @ACCSELC has nearly 600 followers and a steady flow of fresh, relevant content.
The Law Department Management Network (large category winner) developed 17 virtual educational programs and 25 written resources in collaboration with Seyfarth Shaw LLP. Leveraging its membership subcommittee, the network also developed a comprehensive plan to increase its membership, including a new member sweepstakes sponsored by Jewelry Television. Additionally, the network established a social media subcommittee, which launched a YouTube channel, "In the Lead," to share legal tips from their sponsor and market their monthly calls with creative video "sneak peeks." The network also hosted a series of educational calls with renowned published authors such as Bob Rosen, author of Grounded and Conscious, and Andy Molinsky, who penned Global Dexterity. These efforts resulted in a 73 percent increase in virtual programming attendance over the last year.
