The Robert I. Townsend, Jr. Member of the Year award is the highest honor ACC bestows on a member. It recognises the outstanding contributions, commitment, and dedication of a single member to the association and the greater in-house counsel community.
We could not be happier to congratulate this year’s honoree, Lori Middlehurst. Lori’s involvement with ACC has spanned more than a dozen years during which she has contributed her time and expertise in numerous ways. She has been a speaker at many annual meetings and three Australian national conferences. Lori has served as International Subcommittee Chair of the ACC Employment and Labor Network as well as served on the advisory board of the ACC Docket.
She is currently New South Wales Divisional President and has been an ACC Australia Board Member since January of 2018.
We are extremely fortunate to have a world-class lawyer like Lori as part of the ACC family. Her legal career spans multiple continents, and includes leading roles at such organisations as Sun Microsystems, VMware, and now at Salesforce as their APAC Employment Counsel. Lori is a first-class professional and personal inspiration to all of us.
