Good news! Each year, the number of women practising law in Australia continues to rise. According to The National Profile of Solicitors 2016 Report, gender distribution was almost at 50/50 for men and women while just five years previous women accounted for 46%.
The statistics for ACC Australia members shows a greater percentage split, with almost 65% of our member base being women. In celebration of International Women’s Day, we are lucky enough to hear from three of our members on their thoughts about International Women’s Day and practicing law in-house.
