The College of Law, one of ACC Australia’s longest standing corporate partners, is providing support to the legal profession through education scholarships. The support package, valued at $3m, will provide successful applicants with the opportunity to attain a Graduate Certificate in a range of program areas; Applied Law, Legal Business and Legal Operations. The subjects are delivered online and are designed to be flexible around work or home schedules.
“The College exists to support lawyers into and through their careers and we therefore have enormous sympathy for our colleagues who are coming to grips with challenges like these. It is essential for the Australian economy as a whole that the legal industry emerges from this as strong, if not stronger than before. We feel the best contribution we can make is to assist the profession in upskilling to assist individuals seeking employment or looking to reposition their careers, and firms to expand their skill base,” says Neville Carter AM, The College’s CEO and Principal
There are three criteria for the award of a scholarship, 1) Negative impact of COVID-19 2) Commitment to career development 3) Positive benefit for profession and community. The College of Law welcomes ACC Australia members who meet the criteria to apply.
